Giphy permits you to explore all the GIFs that creators have uploaded to the site. When you find a GIF you want to share, click the Facebook icon listed below the animation.

A standard Facebook share box will appear. From there, you can choose if you want to share it on your Timeline, a good friend's timeline, in a group, or in a personal message.

Ways To Post Animated GIFs to Facebook with Postradamus

For years Facebook has shied away from permitting animated GIFs in news feeds stating it would be "too chaotic". Just recently however, this choice was reversed and you can finally start posting animated GIFs to your feeds.

Typically when publishing images to Facebook, you would click on "Photo/video", and then choose one of the lots of alternatives for publishing photos (such as the first choice, "Upload Photos/Video"):.

This works great for routine photos and images, but if you attempt to publish an animated GIF in this manner, you will discover that Facebook takes the "animated" out of animated GIF.

The proper way.

Instead, you should click the "Status tab", and paste the URL of the animated GIF into the status message. This is the same mechanism utilized for producing a link post.

Optionally, you can then erase the URL from the status box if you do not want it to be published with your GIF.
