Clear Notifications Facebook

Facebook can send you notices by means of email or text for almost every possible interaction on its site. The notices can alert you if you've got a brand-new message, were mentioned in a post, tagged in an image or remarks on your wall; among other things. You'll also see these interactions when you visit to Facebook. Clear Notifications Facebook, you can opt out by editing your alert settings. Pop-up notices that appear while you're logged in can be erased immediately.

On the Mobile App (Android).


1. Open the Facebook app. It's the white "F" on a blue background icon. If you're visited, doing so will open your News Feed.

  • If you aren't already logged into Facebook, enter your email address (or contact number) and password and tap Log In.


2. Tap the globe icon. It's at the top of the screen. Doing so will open your current notifications.

3. Tap and hold an alert. You need to see a context menu with Hide notice appear after about a 2nd.

4. Tap Conceal alert. Doing so will get rid of the notice from your current notifications menu and the activity log.

On the Mobile App (iPhone).


1. Open the Facebook app. It's the white "F" on a blue background icon. If you're visited, doing so will open your News Feed.

  • If you aren't currently logged into Facebook, enter your e-mail address (or phone number) and password and tap Log In.


2. Tap the globe icon. It's at the bottom of the screen and to the left of the ☰ icon. Doing so will open your current notices.

3. Swipe left on a notice. Doing so will bring up the Hide option to the right of the notice.

4. Tap Hide. Doing this will remove the alert from your Facebook activity log; you'll not see it when you tap the globe icon.
You can repeat this process for each notice you want to clear.

On Desktop.


1. Open the Facebook website. If you're logged into Facebook, doing so will open your News Feed.

  • If you aren't logged into Facebook, enter your email address (or contact number) into the leading right corner of the screen and click Log In.


2. Click the alerts world. It's in the leading ideal side of the screen. Doing so will open a drop-down menu of your current Facebook alert.

3. Hover your cursor over a notice. You must see a "..." icon and a little circle appear on the ideal side of the alert's box.

  • For instance, if you wish to get rid of a notice about a pal liking your status, you 'd put the mouse cursor over" [Call] likes your post: [Post]".


4. Click the "..." button. You'll see this in the top right corner of the private notice's box.

5. Click Hide this alert. It's on the right side of the screen. Doing so will immediately eliminate the alert from the globe icon menu and prevent it from appearing once again when you open the Current Notices menu later.
