If I Deactivate My Facebook Account

If I Deactivate My Facebook Account, I returned house from a beautiful afternoon stroll with Ryland to find my Mac asking me to log in to Facebook. Amusing I thought, as I never normally log out. I attempted to log in just to be greeted by 'Account Disabled'.

If I Deactivate My Facebook Account

I clicked through to see why:

Phony accounts are a violation of our Declaration of Rights and Responsibilities. All accounts should comply with the following policies:

  • You should provide your genuine very first name and last name. Impersonating anyone or anything is prohibited.

  • You are not permitted to produce multiple accounts that exist solely for the use of Facebook Platform applications.

  • It is an offense of Facebook policy to preserve more than one account on the website.

  • Profiles (timelines) developed to represent celebrities, pets, ideas, or inanimate objects are strictly forbidden.

  • Profiles (timelines) developed for the function of spamming or bugging others are strictly forbidden.

People on Facebook want to engage with their real pals and the individuals they understand in the genuine world. Considering that phony accounts can damage the stability of this environment, they are not permitted to stay on the website.

It appears that lastly Facebook are actially beginning to impose their policy about several accounts and phony profile names. The issue is-- my name Di Coke is genuine, and I only have one Facebook account! And it's not the abbreviation that's the concern, as their policy states: Nicknames can be used as a first or middle name if they're a variation of your real very first or surname (like Bob rather of Robert).

So what taken place? Well, I think it's one of 2 things-- either somebody has reported my account as being phony, or Facebook are having a clampdown on the use of brand names. Either way, I was worthy of a warning initially, before they disabled my account and removed my SuperLucky fan page. In addition to that, I can't access the four pages I'm an Administrator on-- and no one is able to contact me through Facebook. As a Blog Writer and Social Network Supervisor, this is a significant blow. It's been three hours considering that they disabled my account and I hope this is arranged ASAP. Up until then, if you have to, you can contact me via Twitter or e-mail.

And to those of you reading this who have two Facebook accounts or utilize comping nicknames-- take this as a warning! If your account gets handicapped you'll need to submit ID revealing your real name to reactivate it, and I do not believe much of you have passports with the name 'Lucky MSE Turnips' on do you?! And one more thing please don’t forget to share this awesome trick to use the If I Deactivate My Facebook Account with your friends.
