Deactivate My Facebook Account

Deactivate My Facebook Account, I returned house from a beautiful afternoon walk with Ryland to find my Mac asking me to visit to Facebook. Amusing I believed, as I never ever generally log out. I tried to visit just to be welcomed by 'Account Disabled'.

Deactivate My Facebook Account

I clicked through to see why:

Fake accounts are a violation of our Statement of Rights and Responsibilities. All accounts need to follow the following policies:

  • You should provide your genuine given name and surname. Impersonating anybody or anything is restricted.

  • You are not permitted to produce multiple accounts that exist exclusively for the use of Facebook Platform applications.

  • It is an infraction of Facebook policy to maintain more than one account on the site.

  • Profiles (timelines) produced to represent celebs, animals, concepts, or inanimate objects are strictly restricted.

  • Profiles (timelines) produced for the purpose of spamming or bothering others are strictly restricted.

People on Facebook want to connect with their real pals and individuals they know in the real world. Because phony accounts can harm the stability of this environment, they are not allowed to stay on the website.

It appears that finally Facebook are actially beginning to implement their policy about several accounts and phony profile names. The issue is-- my name Di Coke is genuine, and I just have one Facebook account! And it's not the abbreviation that's the problem, as their policy states: Nicknames can be utilized as a very first or middle name if they're a variation of your genuine very first or last name (like Bob rather of Robert).

So what happened? Well, I believe it is among 2 things-- either someone has actually reported my account as being fake, or Facebook are having a clampdown on using trademark name. Either method, I deserved a caution initially, before they disabled my account and took down my SuperLucky fan page. In addition to that, I can't access the 4 pages I'm an Administrator on-- and no one is able to contact me by means of Facebook. As a Blogger and Social Network Manager, this is a major blow. It's been 3 hours considering that they disabled my account and I hope this is arranged ASAP. Until then, if you have to, you can contact me by means of Twitter or email.

And to those of you reading this who have two Facebook accounts or use comping nicknames-- take this as a caution! If your account gets disabled you'll have to submit ID showing your genuine name to reactivate it, and I don't think a number of you have passports with the name 'Lucky MSE Turnips' on do you?! And one more thing please don’t forget to share this awesome trick to use the Deactivate My Facebook Account with your friends.
